Members

The State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) is established pursuant to federal law and Nevada Revised Statutes 459.738. The Governor may appoint up to twenty-five members to the SERC. To the extent practicable, appointments will be made of those who have technical expertise in responding to emergencies. One or more of the members will be appointed to serve as chairman or co-chairs. The term of each member of the SERC is four years and there is no limit on the number of terms a member may serve. The State Emergency Response Commission employs staff as necessary to perform its duties. Staff currently consists of a Commission Administrator and Assistant.
